How do I get started?

You can start by calling now or scheduling a time for Ann-Marie to call you. On our call we will discuss your availability and needs. From there we can schedule your complimentary introductory private yoga session.

How does it work online?

I send you a link for Zoom or Google Hangouts and we both set our videos near our practice area and I guide you through a class as if we were there in person. This is surprisingly intimate and effective. You also have the option to extend your online class to 90 minutes for the price of a 60 minute class.

This gives you the opportunity to experience a longer relaxation at the end of class and a have a deeper experience of meditation. Highly recommended!

We’ll go over it again in our intro call.

What supplies do I need?

You’ll need a mat, two blocks, a blanket, and a strap. It’s okay if you don’t have everything yet for the introductory session.

I’m just looking for a teacher to do a one-time session, is that something you do?

The benefit comes from constant practice so for both our sakes we work in packages. We don’t offer single sessions beyond the introductory class.

I live outside the neighborhood you listed. Are you still able to visit me where I live?

We mostly work in Sunset Park, Park Slope and Brooklyn Heights plus downtown Manhattan and the West Village. If you are slightly outside our zone, we may be able to accommodate with an adjustment to our in rates.

What are your rates?

$100 if you come to me.

$150 if I come to you.

10% discounts are available for 12 class packages.

We try our best to work with your budget, so please do call so we can get you started on our yoga journey one way or another.

I am not flexible, is that OK?

Yes! Yoga is not about touching your toes. We will increase your both strength and flexibility over time.

I have a done a little yoga, but not a lot. Is that OK?

Your private yoga program is customized to begin where you are. Beginners very very welcome!

I have an illness/injury/disability, can you work with me?

I am trained to teach yoga to people with a range of health conditions. Some of the conditions I have created in-home yoga programs for include rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, cancer and PTSD. I have also created programs for people preparing for, or recovering from, surgery. We’ll discuss your specific needs on our phone call, and make sure we are a good fit.

I am an ambassador for the Accessible Yoga Movement
